Running over 2600 miles from Mexico to Canada, the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail traverses California, Oregon and Washington. Every year hikers hit the trail. Some attempt to hike the entire length while others head out for shorter sections. Planning a hike can be a tricky proposition with many variables. While there is no set way to hike the trail, many look to others for advice and information.
