since there's no forum for tahoe here, i thought i'd post this under echo lake...
[a new category for S. Lake Tahoe has been created and this thread has been moved]~admin
anyway, just fyi for 07 hikers, the albertson's next to the main post office in tahoe was shutting down when we came thru in 06, so unless a new store has opened up in its place, plan on getting groceries elsewhere. this is noteworthy mainly because the albertson's was in a very convenient spot right next to the PO.
