i notice that on the main home page there's a sidebar with external links... do you think it would be helpful to have a forum category or some other way for users to add relevant pct links?

I think that would be very helpful. I've been considering adding a software package that will integrate with this site and manage links, but was holding off on the purchase until the site gets going a little more. For now maybe i'll put up a forum category for it.

also, is there a way to have the title of your topic automatically filled in with a "re: ..." when you're responding to a thread?

Good question. I am getting annoyed by that as well. There may be a setting for it. I'll have to dig around and see if I can find it.
