Oh my Word I am in LOVE with my new stove system.

Tested it out yesterday and with only 15 ml yep that's right just 1/2 ounce of alcohol I got 3 cups of water to BOIL!!!!

Normally I use a very small alcohol stove with a MSR Titan Kettle/pot...but with 3 of us going this year I felt we would need something larger or it will take forever to cook.

You can find this stove at
http://www.traildesigns.com/products01.html

The customer service is wonderful, Rand is the person who helped me. This company is out of Yosemite...and this stove is also being sold by Tinman.

There is one review where the tester is even cooking STEAKS on this stove.

Be warned though...you must order each stove to FIT your pot! This is a custom fit and the hardest part is to believe it is working and NOT to lift the lid or try to see the little soda pop can stove as it is working!!!

This is not your normal looking sodapop stove either.
I tried making the system work with my supercat stove and it did okay but not on only 1/2 ounce of alcohol and it only heated the water. Hot enough to drink but not a boil....or yeah this is the JetBoil of the alky crowd!!!!

I forgot to mention for all the gram weenies out there :D
the whole thing only weighs 2.7 oz for the large 2 Qt system
and kiss the wind goodbye...I do not have to carry an extra wind screen!!

Hint: I used a extra-large plastic cup the kind you get from Burger King or Mc Donald's and the complete wind screen sits inside of it...nothing sticking out above, and no sharp edges or anything to worry about!!! It comes with a small red solo cup which is fine, but I wanted something to fit both the cone, stove, my spork and the pot gripper...all inside.

Tried the "CONTACT" button on their webpage but it doesn't work.

Lifted the e-mail address from the website and sent a message but it failed and bounced back.

You know how to get in touch with them ??

Thanks

Footslogger....

Well...what you ran into is one of my little "keep the spammers from spamming me" tricks. The email address on the contact page isn't really a clickable thing. It is a graphic....a picture of the email address text....pretty cool huh? :-)

In order to use it, you just need to re-type it exacly as displayed and it will get here. Just tested it and it's still working. Also, George from Antigravity Gear forwarded your mail along, so I'll reply to that.

Aloha Tink....

WOW!!!! Thanks so much for all the kind words!!! JetBoil for the alky crowd....I love it! Be sure to send me some pictures of your new gear in action and I'll put you up on the Gallery page.

Thanks again!

Rand :-)

Did that ...and it still failed. Went over to the Antigravity Gear site and posted my question ...and YOU have already returned my message !!

Thanks for the reply Rand ...

Footslogger: Sorry I did not have any trouble with those links...Glad it was taken care of.

Thanks Rand I will be camping next weekend instead of this one. The winds with gusts up to 45 mph does not make it a fun trip for me. A great test for your stove though. I will have to take some photos then.

I know the stove was not intended to use as the tester did with the steaks but I am anxious to try something like that out.
As well as using my BakePacker with it...inside the 2 Qt Pot. Got to try baking a cake or pizza something unsual for a backpacking camp out.

I must take a few photos with our beautiful swaying palm trees and fantastic aqua blue shoreline in the view. So you can truly say
From the Mountains to the Sea this Stove Performs!! :D
